Aptitude and Achievement Evaluations and Assessments
Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Form 9
Level A - recognized widely by schools and business as an accurate
assessment of adult and student academic achievement levels in Reading, Math
Computation, Applied Math, and Language.
Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-3)
- is a well known and recognized assessment of basic academic achievement levels
and general cognitive ability.
Watson - Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal
(WGCTA) - Measures some of the important abilities involved
in critical thinking. The ability to define a problem, to select pertinent information
for the solution of a problem, to recognize stated and unstated assumptions,
to formulate and select relevant and promising hypotheses, and the ability to
draw conclusions and judge the validity of inferences.
Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test (BMCT)

of aptitude is important in jobs and training programs that require the understanding

Dvorine - is one of the most

Vocational Implications of Personality (VIP)
- Every individual has a preference to do certain types of work, interact with
people that compliment their style of work, and the desire to be productive
in their work setting. Eight specific vocational personality types are identified

characteristics as they relate to work.
Vocational Preference Inventory (VPI)
- A personality-interest inventory composed entirely of occupational titles.
